Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners seeks a Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department in a long-term care setting. You will plan nutritionally appropriate meals, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to support resident health.

You will oversee daily nutrition service operations, manage budgets, coordinate with the Registered Dietitian, and adapt meals to resident needs while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• CDM/CFPP or DTR certification or equivalent.
• Associate degree in food service management or hospitality preferred.
• Two years' supervisory experience in food service; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition service within the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Registered Dietitian and Administrator regarding nutrition care.
• Use forecasts, inventory, and budgets to plan and purchase food and supplies.
• Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local regulations in meal service.
• Document care plans and progress notes; participate in care conferences as directed.
