Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners seeks a Dietary Manager to plan, supervise and improve nutrition services in the dietary department. You will ensure safe, high-quality food and nutrition care for residents under applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff leadership, collaboration with the Registered Dietitian and Administrator, and coordinating with nursing and families to meet resident needs. Strong supervision and LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• CDM, CFPP, DTR or equivalent training.
• Associate or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control and supervise the dietary department operations.
• Lead food quality, safety standards and resident nutrition care.
• Collaborate with Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Use forecasts, inventory and purchasing to manage supplies.
• Contribute to department budgeting and monthly reporting.
• Communicate with dietitian, nursing, residents and families.
• Document progress notes and nutrition care plans in records.
• Adapt services to resident preferences and needs.
