Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks a Dietary Manager to oversee daily nutrition service and lead dietary staff in a long-term care setting. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high food quality and resident satisfaction.

Coordinate nutrition care with the Registered Dietitian and Administrator, using forecasts and inventory data to plan purchases within budget. Strong supervision and budgeting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of food service supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.
• CDM/CFPP or DTR training or equivalent.
• Associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition service within the dietary department according to policy and regulations.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident needs are met.
• Coordinate nutrition care under supervision of Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan purchases using forecasts, inventory, and equipment records; interface with purchasing department.
