Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department, ensuring nutritionally appropriate meals and compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. You will supervise staff, manage food service quality, and collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to provide resident-centered nutrition care.

The role requires supervising nutrition operations, budgeting, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident dietary needs in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Trained as CDM/CFPP/DTR or equivalent military/traditional education training.
• Associate or higher degree in food service management or hospitality from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition services within the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident nutrition needs.
• Provide nutrition care under supervision of a Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan food purchases using forecasts, inventories, and equipment records; coordinate with purchasing.
• Participate in department budget planning and report monthly expenditures.
