Qualifications

• 2+ years of food service leadership in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital environments.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare food service regulations, dietary restrictions, and kitchen management.
• Proven track record of stabilizing operations, building team culture, and driving accountability.
• CDM credential or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts/Food Service Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations while maintaining high standards for meal quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and train kitchen and dining staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Manage regulatory compliance, sanitation, state survey readiness, and adherence to therapeutic and texture-modified diets.
• Partner with facility leadership and clinical nursing teams to deliver personalized resident dining experiences.
• Control operating expenses, labor, purchasing, and inventory to maintain financial alignment with account budgets.
