Wellspringscare in Kansas seeks a Dietary Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with Registered Dietitian consultants. The role includes supervising dietary personnel, budgeting, and coordinating with other departments to support resident life enhancements.

Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in healthcare food service, and willingness to pursue Certified Dietary Manager or related certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English but not necessary for English primary language.
• Ability to do simple math.
• Ability to learn special diets.
• Good personal hygiene.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Must have or willing to complete Certified Food Management course or Certified Dietary Manager course.

Responsabilités

• Assures safe receiving, storage, preparation, and service of food.
• Protect food in all phases of preparation, holding, service, cooking, and transportation.
• Quantity cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to calculate recipe changes to meet productions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally within a multi-function, interdisciplinary team.
• Food safety knowledge.
• Basic budgeting knowledge.
• Assist in developing food and dietary budgets and inventory control.
