Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the food-service department in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while managing staff, budgets, and client expectations.

Responsibilities include staff recruitment, scheduling, menu planning, and coordination with dietitians and physicians. A strong background in healthcare food service and a certified dietary manager credential are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Dietary Manager’s Course (2-yr or 4-yr program).
• Successful completion of Certified Dietary Manager exam.
• Two years’ experience in food-service management.
• Prior healthcare food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, reward, discipline when necessary.
• Develop work schedules to ensure adequate staff for each shift.
• Create and monitor budgets for a cost-effective program.
• Manage revenue-generating services.
• Justify improvements in department design and layout.
• Work with clients, facility staff, physicians, consultants, vendors and other service providers.
