Job summary

Outfield-Healthcare-Partners in El Paso, TX, is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Services Director to lead the nutrition program in our long-term care facility. You will supervise dietary staff, ensure safe, nutritious meals, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The role requires CDM/CFPP or DTR certification or equivalent, an associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, and prior supervision in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• CDM/CFPP or DTR certification or equivalent training.
• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience required; at least two years in long term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition service within the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality and safety standards.
• Provide nutrition care under the direction of a Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan purchases using forecasts, inventories, and equipment records.
• Participate in department budgeting and monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with RD, dietetic staff, nursing, residents and families.
• Document progress notes and care plans in medical records.
• Visit residents to discuss menus and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain resident information in eKardex and adapt services to resident needs.
