Job summary

Cal Block, LLC is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the food services department at a premier senior living community near Rolling Meadows, IL. The CDM will oversee daily operations, ensure high‑quality meals, and guide a team of cooks, servers, and dietary aides.

You will manage menus, inventories, and records, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the culinary team to deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve delicious and nutritious meals to residents, including special diets and preferences
• Supervise and direct a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and training as needed
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, supplies, and dietary services
• Develop and implement menus, including special occasion and holiday meals
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with our culinary team to provide exceptional food and service to our residents
