Dietary Manager

Dietary ManagerPosition Responsibilities:

• Understands importance of dietary impact on CARE and patient outcomes; specifically in collaboration with Dietician Services
• Orients patients to dining operations and obtain patient preferences for positive dining experience
• Plans and coordinates day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including cooking, staffing & food/supply ordering
• Self-directed in organization and prioritization of tasks.
• Maintain Compliance with Local, State, Federal Regulations
• Meal Planning, Cooking, Ordering
• Staffing of Dietary Department
• Manage Dietary Budget

Preferred areas of experience:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or a willingness to obtain certification in a timely manner
• ServSafe certification or a willingness to obtain certification in a timely manner
• Long Term Care or Health Care Dietary experience
• Prior experience in food service
