We are seeking a Dietary Manager at ALG Senior, an exceptional assisted living community dedicated to personalized care and creating the best life for our residents.

Position Summary

The Dietary Manager is responsible for the successful operation of Dining Services, including meal preparation, staffing, food ordering, menu planning, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The role involves managing staff, maintaining quality service, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct food service staff, ensuring efficient department operations.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and food costs within budget.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance.
• Schedule staff and manage attendance and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce policies and procedures related to safety, sanitation, and employee conduct.
• Conduct quarterly dietary QA audits.
• Plan and coordinate menus with medical staff and residents' care providers.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and served according to recipes and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
• Respond to resident needs and ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Greet visitors and handle communication professionally.
• Ensure compliance with residents' rights and staff training requirements.
• Participate in training sessions and in-service education.
