Job summary

PruittHealth - Pensacola LLC in Pensacola is seeking a Diet Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving for residents in a nursing/long-term care setting. You will follow dietary orders, help ensure meals meet nutritional requirements, and support the kitchen team in efficient service.

The role requires basic literacy and at least one year of institutional food service experience. This is a full-time, 1st shift position with responsibilities in food prep, service, and sanitation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Experience in Long Term Care Food Production is Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in the preparation of meals, salads, desserts, snacks or other dishes for patients/residents.
• Follow diet orders and NPO diet orders and serve nourishments.
• Clean dining and kitchen areas and store supplies properly.
• Record temperatures and maintain sanitation as required.
• Assist with supervision of kitchen staff and ensure timely meal service.
