Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to assist with food preparation, tray assembly and meal service for patients/residents, following established procedures and infection control guidelines.

You will deliver meals, assist cooks, prepare between-meal nourishments, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas. On-the-job training provided; on-site role in long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and dessert items.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents and serve meals.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and record substitutions.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Assist with stock checks and proper storage of supplies.
