Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC to assist with meal preparation and service for residents in Forsyth, GA. The role ensures nutritionally sound meals are prepared and served on schedule, with strict adherence to dietary guidelines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, preparing snacks, serving nourishments, and maintaining clean, organized kitchen and dining areas for residents at all times. Prior experience in long-term care food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• A minimum of one (1) year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Experience in long term care food production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in the preparation of meals, salads, desserts, snacks for residents.
• Serve nourishments per established guidelines.
• Properly store leftovers and opened food.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals and record substitutions.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
