Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Maryland is seeking a Dietary Cook for a nursing facility, responsible for meal preparation and culinary excellence.

You will follow standardized recipes, plate meals attractively, support the Dietary Manager during their absence, maintain kitchen sanitation, manage inventory and assist with special events to ensure smooth operation and high resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last‑minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
