Pineknoll Rehabilitation Centre in Winchester, IN is seeking Dietary Cooks to prepare and serve meals according to menus and safety standards. You will coordinate with nursing services and other departments to ensure accurate diets and quality service.

Formación

• Some training and experience in food preparation and sanitation.
• Knowledge of proper cooking temperatures.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral/written directions.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures.
• Ensure the department and all food storage areas are clean and safe and that equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
• Review and process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services and coordinate dietary services with other departments as necessary.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food and inspect all trays for accuracy of menu and diet preferences.
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming foods, supplies, and equipment.
