Apploi is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals for residents and supervise dietary functions in a bustling kitchen environment. You will help ensure meals meet nutrition and presentation standards and assist in coordinating tray service and dietary substitutions.

Ideal candidates have experience in cooking for large groups, knowledge of special diets, and a commitment to safe, sanitary kitchen practices within a team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred, able to read and write English.
• Experience in food preparation for large quantities.
• Knowledge of special diets, seasoning, cooking times and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dietary functions and kitchen staff.
• Prepare and oversee meals for residents.
• Coordinate tray service and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep accurate records as directed.
• Receive reports on meals for normal and special diets.
