Lake Barkley Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Cook to lead culinary operations for our residents. You will supervise dietary functions, prepare and serve meals, oversee tray service, and maintain cleanliness and records.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma preferred or ability to read and write English.
• Experience: Previous culinary experience is a plus.
• Job Knowledge: Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of foods in larger quantities; knowledge of special diets, seasoning, cooking times and temperature controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the manager.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals for residents, ensuring taste, appearance and nutrition.
• Contribute to tray service and cleanliness duties, maintaining an organized kitchen.
• Keep accurate records as directed to ensure seamless operations.
