We are looking for a FULL-TIME, PM COOK (11:30am-7:30pm) inculding everyother weekend and rotating holidays.
Must be at least 18yrs.
Our Cooks prepare and serve palatable, nutritional meals for our residents and tenants who call Ingleside Manor their home. They also clean and sanitize equipment and work spaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. They are a close team who rely on one another to ensure we provide the highest quality nutritional services possible. Position Requirements:
Qualifications Required
• High school diploma or equivalent. Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy
• Enjoy working with the senior population
• Must be English literate to complete all functions of the job
Qualifications Preferred
• Serve Safe Training
• Food service experience preferred, however on-the-job training provided.
Essential Functions of the Job
1. Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work area.
2. Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
3. Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards.
4. Ability to interact appropriately with residents, public and co-workers.
5. Prepares and serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
6. Ability to manager multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
7. Plans and schedules work day to meet meal deadlines.
8. Has basic knowledge of special diets and that they are served correctly.
9. Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
