Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to prepare meals and snacks for residents in a structured kitchen environment. You will follow specific dietary requirements, maintain sanitation standards, and work closely with the dietitian and food service team to honor resident preferences.

The role includes assisting with inventory, menu development, and meal service, with attention to quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special dietary needs for our residents in accordance with our menu and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor food inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with our registered dietitian and other food service team members to ensure resident food preferences and dietary restrictions are met
• Develop and implement creative and nutritious menu options for our residents
• Participate in meal service and ensure excellent presentation and plating of food
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and resident preferences

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special dietary needs for our residents in accordance with our menu and dietary requirements
