Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Dietary Assistant/Server in Bloomington, MN to provide dining room meal service for senior residents and maintain kitchenette supplies in the Skilled Nursing Facility. The role includes an evening schedule with 40 hours per two weeks and every-other-weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include serving meals, keeping the dining area inviting, supporting resident happiness, sanitizing work areas, assisting with meal prep, and providing kitchen support as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required.
• Desire to work with seniors and ability to interact compassionately with residents and staff.
• No previous experience required, but preferred work experience in a customer service setting.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• 40 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift
• Includes every other weekend

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. • Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
• Assists with meal prep and special events
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
