Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to support meal preparation and tray delivery in a care facility. You will follow established guidelines, assist with meals, and ensure sanitation and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.

Strong teamwork and compassion are essential, with on-the-job training provided to maintain high standards of infection control and patient nourishment.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous food service experience preferred, long term care dietary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Use proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Deliver and serve meals to patients/residents in dining area; food and beverages.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and serves in accordance with guidelines.
• Offer menu substitutions and records them according to guidelines.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
• Communicate warmly with patients/residents and families and respond to concerns while maintaining a caring demeanor.
