Job summary

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Long-term care dietary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and food handling per guidelines.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents and serve meals in dining areas.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and record substitutions.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and equipment.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Communicate with patients and families in a friendly, professional manner.
