Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to assist in food preparation and serving for patients/residents in our facility. You will follow established guidelines, help with tray delivery, and keep dining areas clean and sanitary.

The role requires basic literacy and willingness to learn on the job; prior food service experience is preferred but not required. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care and nutrition support for patients.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• None, on-the-job training is provided.
• Previous food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in preparing meals, desserts and/or snacks for patients/residents.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Delivers and serves meals to patients/residents in dining area; food and beverages.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments and serves per guidelines.
• Records and accommodates menu substitutions as per guidelines.
• Maintains dining and kitchen areas in accordance with infection control policies.
• Attends mandatory in-services and participates in surveys/reports as required.
