Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Johnson, AR is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for full-time and part-time shifts. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and help maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have customer service experience and the ability to read in English; you must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform related tasks. The fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with daytime and mixed shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural/religious preferences, or requests for additional selections.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and timely; retrieve trays from patient rooms as scheduled.
• Comply with federal, state and JCAHO standards; uphold HIPAA policies and procedures.
