You will help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and follow dietary plans while delivering friendly, reliable service. Strong teamwork and basic food-safety knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ability to read, write, and follow spoken instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation under the Dietary Manager or Cook.
• Set up dining rooms with tableware, utensils, and condiments.
• Serve meals and beverages according to dietary plans and restrictions.
• Clear tables and transport dishes back to the kitchen area for cleaning.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, countertops, floors, and storage areas.
• Dispose of trash and recycle materials according to facility protocols.
