Job summary

Loyalhanna Senior Suites in Latrobe is looking for a compassionate Dietary Aide / Wait Staff to support our Food & Nutrition Services team. You will serve meals, assist residents during dining, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment.

No degree is required; prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus, but we value reliability, empathy, and teamwork, and provide opportunities for growth in a resident-centered community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room for meal service
• Serve meals and beverages in a friendly, professional manner
• Assist residents during meals while promoting dignity and independence
• Deliver meal trays and snacks to resident rooms
• Ensure food is served accurately and at proper temperatures
• Assist with light food preparation as directed
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize work areas
• Restock supplies and rotate food items properly
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and food safety procedures
• Work as part of a team to provide exceptional service to our residents

As a Dietary Aide, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience by serving nutritious meals, assisting residents during mealtimes, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room for meal service
