Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation Richmond is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support our dining services and resident meals. You’ll help prepare and serve meals, maintain clean dining areas, and ensure meals meet dietary guidelines with compassion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Positive attitude and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Set up and maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Deliver meals to residents with a friendly, compassionate attitude.
• Assist residents during meal service as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
• Properly store food and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare dietary experience is preferred—but we're willing to train the right candidate!
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification is a plus.
