Job summary

Smokyridgehc in Burnsville, NC is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and maintain cleanliness in our kitchen for our residents.

This part-time role offers 16–29 hours per week with pay starting at $14.00 per hour or more based on experience. Two positions are available.

You will follow dietary guidelines, ensure proper food handling and sanitation, and provide friendly, supportive service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar food service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team; basic cooking skills are a plus.
