Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our residents by preparing and serving meals, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with daily dining operations. You will help set up dining areas, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely, quality service.

The role emphasizes friendly communication, physical stamina for a fast-paced environment, and adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in meal preparation per instructions.
• Friendly, customer-focused demeanor and communication.
• Physical fitness for a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and utensil collection.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes, equipment, and silverware.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
