Apploi is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dining services for residents, ensuring meals are prepared and served with attention to safety and quality. You will setup dining areas, assist in meal prep under supervision, and help deliver trays on time.

The role emphasizes sanitation, teamwork, and dependable, friendly service. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected; food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Meal preparation following instructions with cookware and appliances
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Physical fitness for a fast-paced environment
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under guidance of a dietary manager or cook and follow safety standards
• Deliver dishes and trays promptly to rooms and times
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing areas and collecting items
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and inventory
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances
