Job summary

Salmon Creek Post Acute & Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to support our dining services. You will help set up dining areas, assist in meal prep under supervision, deliver meals, and contribute to post-meal cleanup while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have prior dietary aide experience, knowledge of safety guidelines, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma is required, and food service certification is a plus.

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledgeable about sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in meal preparation according to instructions.

• Physical fitness and stamina for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook, following safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and collect plates and utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean, wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Assist in upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
