Job summary

Salmon-Creek-Post-Acute- seeks a Dietary Cook to prepare and oversee meals, supervise dietary functions, and contribute to residents' wellbeing. You will work to ensure meals are flavorful, visually appealing, and prepared responsibly for various diets.

Responsibilities include supervising in the manager's absence, coordinating with dietary needs, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and keeping accurate records to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred, or the ability to read and write English effectively.
• Previous culinary experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of preparing and cooking a variety of foods in large quantities; knowledge of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times and temperature controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the manager.
• Coordinate meals for normal and special diets and manage food and supply requirements.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals that are visually appealing and flavorful.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth operations.
