Job summary

Hazard Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking Dietary Aides to provide nourishing food to residents, guests, and staff under sanitary conditions in line with dietary policies. No education or prior experience is required.

Opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time roles. Responsibilities include serving meals, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating with the dietary team to ensure timely and appetizing service.

Qualifications

• No education or prior experience required.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals as necessary and in a timely basis.
• Ensure dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Maintain inventory and stock of supplies.
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with portion control.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary.
• Report accidents/incidents as established practices.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food.
• Work with cooks and Dietary Manager to implement changes as needed.
