Job summary

Nashville-Center-For-Rehabilitation-and-Healing is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal service for residents. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with 20–25 hours per week and daily pay available.

You will help assemble diet trays, label food, and deliver meals while maintaining a clean kitchen. Ideal candidates have prior dietary aide experience and can follow procedures with a positive, patient, and collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as dietary aide, LTC preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays to ensure meals meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food items properly.
• Deliver food carts and collect trays after meals.
• Work in dish room, wash dishes and utensils using the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep kitchen clean, sweep and mop floors as instructed.

NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY!

• 20-25 hours weekly
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with NO weekend requirement
  • 4p - 8:30p

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required)
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality
