Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is hiring a Dietary Aide for a full-time day shift (6:30am-3:00pm). The role involves preparing and delivering meals to residents, assembling diet trays, labeling food, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Daily pay is offered, with emphasis on tactful interaction with residents, families, and staff. Qualifications include prior dietary aide experience (LTC preferred), ability to follow procedures, and a positive, patient, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required).
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.
• Must deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check diet trays prior to distribution to ensure residents receive proper meals.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect after meals.
• Work in dish room and wash dishes/utensils using dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep kitchen clean and floors swept/mopped as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team.

Dietary AideDuties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required)
