The Eliot at Troy in Troy, NY is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join a warm team.

This part-time or full-time role offers weekly pay and shifts Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday–Thursday. Hourly rate ranges from $16–$17 depending on experience. Responsibilities include food prep, serving meals, cleaning, and assisting with events for residents.

Shifts Available:

Tuesday-Saturday 11a-7p

Sunday,Monday,Wednesday,Thursday 11a-7p

Hourly Rate: Ranges $16-$17 DOE

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare foods assigned by the Cook or Food Service Director, using daily menus.
• Assist in preparing foods for special events.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environmen t.
• Store food properly for infection control.
• Participate in serving food.
• Clean tables during and after meals.
• Reset tables for the next meal.
• Prepare beverages before meals.
• Clean equipment, appliances, floors, drains, storage area,
• Refrigerator, freezer and sinks according to schedule.
• Sweep clean and mop kitchen after each meal.
• Stack, soak and run dish machine.
• Soak and clean pots and pans.
• Put away clean dishes, pots and pans.
• Work with resident volunteers in the dining room.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Management Team
