Job summary

The Eliot At Erie Station is seeking a Dietary Aide for full-time hours with weekly pay. Shifts are available Tue-Sat, 7A-3P or 11A-7P. An hourly rate of $16-$17 DOE applies. Join a team that serves residents and supports a positive dining environment.

Responsibilities include food preparation, serving, sanitation, and assisting with events. Prior food handling experience is preferred; weekends and holidays included.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods assigned by the Cook or Food Service Director, using daily menus.
• Assist in preparing foods for special events.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment.
• Store food properly for infection control.
• Participate in serving food.
• Clean tables during and after meals.
• Reset tables for the next meal.
• Prepare beverages before meals.
• Clean equipment, appliances, floors, drains, storage area.
• Refrigerator, freezer and sinks according to schedule.
• Sweep clean and mop kitchen after each meal.
• Stack, soak and run dish machine.
• Soak and clean pots and pans.
• Put away clean dishes, pots and pans.
• Work with resident volunteers in the dining room.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Management Team

Hourly Rate: Ranges $16-$17 DOE
