Job summary

Sullivan Park Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, tray setup, and kitchen sanitation on site. You will learn the routine quickly and assist the cook and dietary supervisor, ensuring meals are served safely and efficiently.

The role requires the ability to follow recipes and procedures, read technical instructions, and maintain cleanliness in a busy kitchen. A food handler certificate is required and the environment is generally low to moderate noise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water temperature and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks as needed.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work area and floors.
