Job summary

Sullivan Park Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support dining services. You will learn the food service routine, assist with meal trays, dishwashing, and snack preparation, while maintaining sanitary kitchen conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to read procedures/recipes, and a food handler's certificate. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and PTO; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water/chemical temperatures.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep, mop and sanitize kitchen areas.
• Carry out trash and maintain safe, organized storage of groceries.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
