Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a hospital or care facility setting. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays and assist with serving meals while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen.

The role requires ability to read procedures and follow recipes, plus the capacity to observe dishwashing safety checks and support other dietary staff. High school diploma or equivalent and food handlers’ certificate are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and set up meal trays.
• Assist with serving meals and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Record water temperatures and monitor dishwashing processes.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, organized and sanitary.
