Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations. You will learn the food service routine, set up meal trays, and assist with serving meals while reporting to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor. Shifts include every other weekend.

The role emphasizes hygiene, sanitation, and teamwork; responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, recording temperatures, and keeping the kitchen clean and orderly. A high school diploma and a food handlers’ certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Must learn food service routine within a short period.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain sanitation of kitchen areas.
• Carry out trash and garbage and keep work surfaces clean.
