Job summary

PACS is hiring a Dietary Aide to support meal service at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, reporting to the Cook and Dietary supervisor. You will learn the food service routine quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read technical procedures and recipes, and a food handlers' certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Learn food service routines quickly and work with dietary supervisor.
• Record and monitor chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing process.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
