Job summary

Lexington is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service in our kitchen. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, and help with dishwashing while maintaining a clean, sanitary environment.

You will follow recipes, read procedures, and communicate with the cook and dietary supervisor. Must obtain a food handlers' certificate; HS diploma required; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Wash dishes and return trays.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Monitor chlorine levels and water temperature of dishwashing machine.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary, including floors and surfaces.
• Participate in training of dietary staff.
