PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the kitchen team with meal setup, tray assembly, dishwashing, and basic food service tasks.

You'll learn routines quickly, follow recipes, and maintain clean, sanitary work areas. The role emphasizes cooperation with staff across departments and adherence to food safety standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and obtain a food handlers’ certificate.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Learn food service routines quickly and operate the dishwasher.
• Check and record water temperatures and chlorine in dishwashing area.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work surfaces, kitchens, and refrigerators.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
