Job summary

Sullivan Park Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the kitchen team with meal service, tray setup, and sanitation. You will report to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and learn food service routines quickly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a food handlers' certificate. The role requires cooperation with staff across departments and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk frequently.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.
• Team player with cooperation across departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature (if applicable) and monitor dishwashing operations.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
