Job summary

PACS, a national post-acute healthcare network, is seeking a dietary aide to support meal service and kitchen operations. You will learn food service routines quickly, set up meal trays, and assist with dishwashing and snack preparation in a hospital or facility setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain a food handlers certification. You will be part of a team focused on sanitary practices and safety while serving patients and residents.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and perform duties.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Check/mantain dishwashing water temperatures and operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep/mop kitchen; take out trash.
• Assist in orientation and training of dietary staff; cooperate with all departments.
