Job summary

Richwood Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Full Time Dietary Aide to support the Dietary Department of our nursing home. The role involves setting up meal trays, assisting with serving meals, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handlers certificate. You will report to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and participate in training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness including sweeping and mopping.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor dishwashing cycles.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Carry out trash disposal and groceries as needed.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
