Job summary

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for residents. You will handle tray delivery, dining room cleaning, and basic kitchen tasks while following instructions and maintaining safety protocols.

Experience in healthcare dietary settings is a plus; willingness to train the right candidates and work physical shifts is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Deliver trays and carts to resident floors.

• Assist on the tray line and in dish/pot areas.
• Assist with trash and recyclables disposal.

Job description

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab has positions available for Dietary Aides. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential. You must be physically able to prepare food, serve meals, as well as be able to operate and maintain kitchen equipment. Prior experience working as a dietary aide is a plus.

Hours: 6am-2pm and 11am-8pm

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

• Experience in a healthcare/nursing home dietary setting


• Ability to work independently and do physical work


• Good attendance, a Dietary Aide must be responsible and conscientious.


• Portioning and serving of food items


• Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors


• Cleaning of dining rooms


• Working on the tray line


• Working in the dish room and pot sink


• Sweeping and mopping


• Disposal of trash and recyclables
