Job summary

Nassawadox Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a dietary aide to assist in meal preparation and serving, and to help maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas under supervision. You will participate in inventory, tray setup, and meal delivery to residents, while upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care facility dietary department preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
• Set up trays and deliver meals to residents.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment and dining areas.
• Stock and store food items; maintain quantities for meals.
